Exposure to low levels of chemicals in homes or workplaces may cause a range of adverse physical reactions such as headaches, chronic fatigue, sinusitis, itchy eyes, runny noses, heart palpitations, and other severe respiratory problems. Formaldehyde can be found in insulation, pesticides can be found in household cleaners, and latex is often used in paints and caulking.
For chemical abatement in areas up to 2000 square feet, the Airpura C600 Air Purifier uses over 400 blends of impregnated activated carbon to remove 4000 chemicals and gases such as Formaldehyde, Nitrous Oxide, and Chlorine. The four step filtration process involves the use of a cleanable pre-filter to remove large particles, 2 Micro-Suppress filters to suppress bacteria and antigens, a 26 lb Carbon Filter to ensure effective chemical adsorption, and a HEPA-Barrier post filter to trap carbon dust and particles.
The C600?s 560 CFM impeller/motor combined with the variable speed control and unimpeded airflow allows you to set the airflow precisely and achieve the results you need, and the unit also provides proper contact times for effective filtration by correctly calibrating airflow/bed depth for efficient adsorbtion. All metal housing and felt gaskets eliminate off-gassing and ensures that no plastic vapors are emitted, and a pressure-sealed filter chamber prevents contaminants from escaping.
For superior protection against chemicals and gases, the Airpura C600 uses advanced air purification technology to safely filter the air you breathe.
