These Granulated Bamboo Charcoal Odor Absorbing Air Fresheners help control pet odors naturally by absorbing them instead of masking them with perfumes. Each packet holds 180 grams of activated carbon derived from environmentally friendly bamboo. Activated Carbon is a natural air purifier, and has a surface area as high as 600 sq meters per gram, and is excellent at absorbing and trapping harmful substances from the air such as allergens, smoke, odors, and VOCs from fresh paint or carpet. Charcoal also improves air quality by acting as a natural humidity regulator.Lay on top of kennels, cages, or the mesh lids of aquariums to absorb and destroy pet odors. Be careful when placing these that your pets can't chew on them. While the charcoal is non-toxic, it probably isn't good for your pets, and will make a mess if the bag is torn. These natural air fresheners are quite versatile. Originally, we stocked these to control refrigerator odors. They also work great in cars, for controlling pet odors, and in closets, attics and gym bags. Now available in 3 colors to keep them separate if you're using them in multiple locations. These Air Fresheners can be re-used for years. Simply place the packet of Bamboo Charcoal in bright sunlight for a couple hours once every other week to recharge its odor absorbing capacity. For best results, when used to control pet odor, these should be replaced every 3 months, but can be used for up to 6 months. For other less intensive uses, you can re-use for 1 year before replacing. Once they have been exhausted, you can cut them open and spread the charcoal on your garden or lawn as fertilizer.
